We are a well-funded, institutionally backed startup led by a team of former industry heavyweights from Cisco, Juniper Networks, Nortel, EY and Macquarie Group with two start-up exits and 4 patents under our belts.
Shabodi is building a solution that will transform the fashion in which applications are being enabled on the networks, especially a 5G network. We are in the midst of building a virtual appliance which will leverage 5G ‘s core and Radio Access Network (O-RAN etc.) to enable optimized network services for end user applications.
Key skills that the candidate should possess:
Requirements
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail;
· Possess a Scrum Master Certification;
· Experience with Jira, ServiceNow or similar tools;
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field;
· 5+ years experience as a Scrum Master, Software Project / Program Delivery, or similar roles delivering medium-to-large scale initiatives;
· Solid understanding and experience with various Agile Methodologies and frameworks;
· Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders;
· Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills;
· Software development experience is an asset;
· Essential – Mastery of Atlassian suite.
Domain Knowledge
● Experience with telecom domain and knowledge of 5G is an asset

Agile Practices
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with Agile mindset;
· Experience working with Scrum APM practices and tools including Jira, Confluence, Git etc.
· Should have knowledge in Software Application development process with understanding of REST API calls.
Roles and responsibilities
· Removing impediments to the team’s progress to its sprint commitments;
· Enacting change & continuous improvement to increase the productivity of the team and quality of deliverables;
· Coaching the team in agile best practices including self-organization and cross-functionality;
· Plan and facilitate sprint ceremonies including planning, backlog grooming and refinement, demo, retrospective, and daily stand-up meetings;
· Maintain relevant metrics and information radiators to guide the development teams and show their progress in meeting business objectives;
· Identify and remove impediments and blockers that prevents the teams from delivering their sprint goals;
· Monitor progress and team performance throughout the life of the project and monitor and manage project scope and deliverables;
· Partner with product owner/product manager to effectively create, maintain and refine the product backlog;
· Teach, mentor, and facilitate Scrum and Kanban practices within the team as well as Agile Values and Principles;
· Developing Agile teams into a high performing team. Motivating team members and influencing decisions without formal authority;
· Set and continually manage expectations with team members and other stakeholders;
· Helping the team stay focused & organized and making the team’s work visible and transparent to stakeholders;
· Understanding and communicating the impact of changes or new information on team velocity and their predictability;
· Ensuring the Agile Scrum processes are followed when appropriate, and ditched when necessary;
· Manage the team dependencies and coordinate work with other internal or external teams/li.
