We are a well-funded, institutionally backed startup led by a team of former industry heavyweights from Cisco, Juniper Networks, Nortel, EY and Macquarie Group with two start-up exits and 4 patents under our belts.
Shabodi is building a solution that will transform the fashion in which applications are being enabled on the networks, especially a 5G network. We are in the midst of building a virtual appliance which will leverage 5G ‘s core and Radio Access Network (O-RAN etc.) to enable optimized network services for end user applications.
Key skills that the candidate should possess:
Requirements
● Must have experience in programming languages and frameworks such as Python and Bash;
● Perform Security risk Assessments of digital, analog, mixed-signal, embedded firmware, and embedded software IP products.
● Up to date with the latest developments in security.
● May act as a member of an IP Security Incident Response Team.
● Comfortable with identifying and advising on remediation for Application Security vulnerabilities.
● 3-5+ years of experience as a Security Engineer.
● Experience with OS internals and hardening.
● May contribute to definition and maintenance of the IP Security Development Lifecycle;
● May contribute to and/or review Threat Modelling and Security Validation Testing;
● May Define, Promote and Track the implementation of new IP Security initiatives.
● Development of Proof of Concept exploits.
Domain Skills
● Experience with telecom domain and knowledge of 5G is an asset
Roles and responsibilities
● Support client and 3rd party audits providing documentation, responding to questions, evaluating results and organizing remediation;
● Identify, assess, and document key areas of risk regarding business facilities, operations, technologies and solutions;
● Working in a fast paced environment where projects and prioritization may change frequently, security will always remain;
● Implementing and maintaining technologies for security, such as vulnerability testing, logging, monitoring and incident responses;
● Together with the Information Security and Compliance management, enforce security processes within the organization;
● May Define, Promote and Track the implementation of new IP Security initiatives;
● May contribute to and/or review Threat Modeling and Security Validation Testing;
● May contribute to definition and maintenance of the IP Security Development Lifecycle;
● Participate in Bug Bounty program validations, writing proof of concepts, assessing risk, communication with external reporters;
● Security architecture reviews of existing and upcoming projects;
● Document policy, processes, procedures, and standards;
● Perform Security risk Assessments of digital, analog, mixed-signal, embedded firmware, and embedded software IP products;
● Assist the development of security tool requirements, trials, and evaluations as well as security operations procedures and processes;
● Conduct employee and team training on security awareness, policy and procedure;
● Participate in and support team initiatives and projects.
